MESOHAIR treatment

Who does not dream of full, shiny and voluminous hair?

What is Mesohair therapy and how does it work?

The loss of 100 hairs a day is normal. However, if this increases, it can be very stressful for men and women alike. By means of the innovative autologous blood therapy, the regeneration of the area surrounding the hair follicle is promoted. With the increase in blood supply, follicular cell proliferation is improved, resulting in stronger, thicker and more beautiful hair.

Mesohair therapy for hair loss is used with great success in Europe and the United States. The success rate of 90-92 % of this hair therapy, than to the commonly used minoxidil (Rogaine), which is only 50 %.

Unlike classic cosmetic surgery, mesohair therapy does not require surgery at all. The patient does not have to tolerate general anesthesia, local anesthesia, or serious postoperative side effects.

The plasma injected under the scalp reactivates the inactive hair growth. However, this procedure is suitable only if the hair follicle has not yet died, so that the mesotherapeutic effect can begin to re-initiate growth and revitalization. Along the way, they promote blood flow and provide the scalp with precious nutrients. In the process, hair loss slows down, natural growth increases and hair gains strength, bounce and elasticity. Immediately it makes a fuller impression of the hair splendor.

Every second man is affected by hair loss, sometimes even at a young age. Women suffer from hair loss especially after hormonal changes, such as after childbirth (postpartum alopecia) or the menopause (between the ages of 50 and 70, women lose about 20 percent of their main hair, and the hair loses volume and thickness).

Main causes and applications:

  • Hereditary hair loss
  • After hair transplant
  • Hormone fluctuations
  • Thyroid Diseases
  • Vitamin, iron and zinc deficiency
  • Infections
  • Stress
  • Drugs
  • Malnutrition and diets
  • Harmful substances: Alcohol, nicotine, drugs
  • Wrong hair care
  • Hairstyles: extension, bleaching, tight hair braid
  • To Corona
Treatment procedure

Only 10ml of blood is taken from you. Then the whole blood is centrifuged for 15 minutes and the blood components are successfully separated. After that we have platelet rich blood plasma, which is also called "golden plasma". Platelets are key factors in the mechanisms of tissue repair. They provide essential growth factors involved in stem cell migration, differentiation and proliferation.

Blood plasma contains many factors important for cell survival, including nutrients such as vitamins, hormones, electrolytes, growth factors (IGF and HGF), and proteins. Among the plasma proteins are the molecules that are crucial for the coagulation process and for the formation of the fibrin polymer, which serves as a scaffold for cell migration and the formation of new tissue. For this purpose we use the well-known products of Regenlab.

Without anesthesia, plasma is injected directly into the scalp with a very thin and small needle. The whole treatment usually lasts between 45-60 minutes. Depending on the severity of hair loss, usually at least 6-10 sessions are required. We recommend starting with an intensive regimen every 2-4 weeks for the first 2-3 months. There should be a time gap between each session, as the skin needs some time to recover. The frequency then gradually decreases and the results of hair rejuvenation become visible after 2-3 months.

After successful treatment, maintenance therapy is recommended to maintain the desired result. The first results are seen after only a short treatment period. In more than 80 percent of patients, hair loss is already reduced after the third session. After two to three months, they are already amazed at noticeably fuller, stronger and healthier hair.

Filler hyaluronic acid

We will give you your desired volume.

What is hyaluronic acid and how does it work?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the human body. The active ingredient is found in many types of tissue and is mainly present in the skin, joints and muscles, etc.. Hyaluronic acid gives volume and elasticity to the skin and gives it, youthful tone. The ingenious ability to bind water in the tissue is the property we need for aesthetic medicine.

The hyaluronic acid content of the skin decreases with age, which means it does not remain the same throughout life. Natural aging processes cause a continuous degradation of the active ingredients hyaluronic acid and collagen. This decline begins as early as the age of 25 and then progresses inexorably. Around the age of 60, only 10 percent of the original amount of hyaluronic acid is left in the body. This leaves clearly visible traces on our face. Connective tissue and skin lose volume and sag, facial structures sag and wrinkles appear.

Hyaluronic acid works in two ways in the fight against wrinkles. The wrinkles are filled by the volume of hyaluronic acid. This effect is visible immediately after the treatment. Another effect is, through its biological function, to bind water. The injected hyaluronic acid ensures that gradually more moisture is bound in the tissue. Which leads to a volume increase, which is reflected in firmer, smoother skin. The active ingredient stimulates tissue growth and promotes the formation of collagen. Both contribute to a lasting aesthetic improvement of the skin.

Less suitable for wrinkle injections with hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, are active wrinkles such as expression lines, which are caused by direct muscle contraction. To eliminate these wrinkles, treatment with Botox is much more effective.

Treatment procedure

Hyaluronic acid injections are a non-surgical treatment. There are different hyaluronic acid, for suitable regions, which we select individually.

Before the treatment, a personal consultation is arranged. It should be looked at together with you, which region is affected and what your wishes are. Before the injection, a local anesthetic is applied, either with an anesthetic or with a surface anesthetic to the desired area. Although the treatment is painless, it makes it more comfortable. The procedure varies depending on the type of wrinkle and the desired area. Also, depending on the treatment goal, injections are made into the deeper or superficial layer of the skin, which depends on the desired result. Depending on the consistency and amount of filler material, a very fine needle or even a blunt cannula is used. It is possible that small hematomas and/ or small swellings may occur, so the injected area should be cooled afterwards. The good thing about this treatment is that you are immediately fit for company again. After 2 weeks we will have a check-up appointment to see if we have achieved a nice, even result.

Treatment areas:

  • Lips
  • Cheeks
  • Jawline
  • Eye circles
  • Nose
  • Nasolabial fold
  • Marionette folds
  • Aftercare from Botox treatment

The result is visible immediately. But will unfold to the effective effect in the next 2-3 weeks. Hyaluronic acid is temporarily effective and is gradually broken down by the kidneys. Thus, after some time, the result also fades. How quickly or slowly hyaluronic acid is broken down by the organism depends on several factors and varies from person to person. As a result, the durability of the results also varies. The average value is 6 to 12 months, in some cases the effect lasts a year or longer.

Botulinum toxin(BTX)

Let's fight your wrinkles together.

What is BTX and how does it work?

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin protein and has been known since 1820. In aesthetic medicine, it relaxes the muscle, which causes it to smooth out wrinkles in the skin, or if they are not yet too deep, it even makes them disappear altogether. It works by blocking the release of a chemical, acetylcholine, which is responsible for muscle contraction. This leads to a temporary and gradual reversible paralysis.

Due to the fact that our mimic muscles are constantly active, wrinkles will dig into the overlying skin over the course of our lives. Such as the smile lines at the corners of the eyes, which we call crow's feet.

BTX is also used elsewhere in medicine. In the case of excessive sweating, BTX is injected into the armpits so that the sweat glands no longer produce so much sweat. It is also administered in cases of severe migraine or violent teeth grinding, which are then not aesthetic reasons, but medical, to relieve pain.

Treatment procedure

Botox injections are a non-surgical treatment. In our practice, we use genuine Botox Type A, which is manufactured by Allergan. Allergan is a leading global provider of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic products.

Before the treatment, a personal consultation is arranged. It will be looked at together with you, which and how much a region is affected. If you wish, we will apply a surface anesthetic to the area to be treated so that you do not experience the fine injections as painful. Otherwise, this may not be necessary, as the treatment does not take long and is painless. Dr. Arhold uses a very thin needle to inject small amounts of Botox into the face, targeting specific muscles to temporarily reduce or eliminate wrinkles. This may produce a slight burning sensation, but it disappears within seconds. The good thing about this treatment is, you are immediately fit for society again. After 2 weeks, we will have a follow-up appointment to determine if we have achieved a nice, even result and administer some BTX again if needed.

Treatment areas:

  • Forehead
  • Frown lines (glabella)
  • Crow's feet
  • Chin, mouth region
  • Eyebrow lift
  • Face narrowing
  • Smoking wrinkles
  • Armpits

Normally, the treatment effect is already visible after 48-72 hours, with the maximum effect properly unfolding after 1-2 weeks. In rare cases, the treatment shows its effect later.

The norm shows that the blockade at the transmission site between nerve and muscle usually lasts 4 - 6 months. By then, the changes caused by BTX have regressed. The wrinkle-smoothing result of the injection remains for a correspondingly long time. If desired, the treatment can be repeated. In the case of continuous treatment, the time interval can be extended, as the muscles gradually relax more and more.
